Terms of Service
The working terms that guide Canvasweb project discussions and service delivery.
In short: Canvasweb work should begin with a clear scope, agreed pricing, timelines, content responsibilities, and launch approval. These terms set the basic working expectations.
Project Scope
Services are provided according to the agreed proposal, estimate, statement of work, or written confirmation. Any work outside that scope may require a revised timeline or additional cost.
Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing accurate content, approvals, access credentials, brand assets, legal copy, payment details, and timely feedback needed to complete the work.
Payments
Fees, milestones, and payment timing should be agreed before work begins. Work may pause if required payments or approvals are delayed.
Content And Ownership
Client-provided content remains the client's responsibility. Final ownership of delivered work depends on full payment and any third-party license terms for software, fonts, plugins, themes, images, or services.
Third-Party Services
Hosting, domains, payment gateways, plugins, APIs, email services, and other third-party tools are governed by their own providers. Canvasweb is not responsible for outages or policy changes from those providers.
Launch And Support
Launch requires final approval, access readiness, and reasonable testing. Ongoing maintenance, backups, monitoring, or feature changes are separate unless included in the agreed scope.
Liability
Canvasweb aims to deliver reliable work, but is not liable for indirect losses, lost revenue, third-party failures, or issues caused by unauthorized changes after handoff.
Changes
These terms may be updated as service offerings, hosting requirements, or legal needs change.
